Marsala began its operations on July 10, 1997, in the municipality of Cachoeirinha, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Years later, the company relocated its headquarters to Gravataí, where it is currently situated. For 20 years, it has been operating in the food sector, producing a variety of product lines.

The company offers, for example, lines of fresh pasta such as tagliatelle, spaghetti, and fettuccine. It also produces pastry dough, lasagna sheets, and pre-made pizza dough. In its most recent and modern line, the company produces stuffed breads, offering Marsala Garlic Bread in traditional and spicy flavors.

Currently, the company serves the entire state of Rio Grande do Sul, catering to retail and wholesale sectors, as well as restaurants, bakeries, and the like. Additionally, service has begun in the state of Santa Catarina, where the company is already present in the metropolitan and western regions.

Technology

The company’s production system is highly technological. With efficient and intelligent production processes, it is possible to develop agile and standardized manufacturing. Furthermore, the company’s production sectors are climate-controlled, creating an appropriate environment for the employees’ work and conducive to handling perishable food products.

Quality Control

The company is committed to ensuring the supply of safe food with high-quality standards. To achieve this, we provide our employees with various training programs, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which ensure the hygienic and sanitary quality conditions of the products, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which guarantee product standardization from obtaining raw materials with highly selected ingredients to distribution to our customers.

We have a qualified and specialized workforce, extensively trained to perform the necessary functions. With this, the company rigorously maintains the same quality standard in all products, a characteristic that represents one of the brand’s commitments.

Fleet

The company has a quick-delivery system designed to serve all commercial establishments, from micro-enterprises to hypermarket chains. Logistics are fully managed with our own fleet, consisting of new, refrigerated vehicles equipped with the latest technology for transporting perishables.
